Bandits Bets Week 4

Bandit Bets Breakdown Philadelphia Stars-Michigan Panthers Spread: Panthers -1 Moneyline: Panthers-118 Stars-105 Over/Under: 33.5 I believe the Michigan Panthers will be able to parlay their first win of the season into another one this week against the Stars; who will be without their starting QB Bryan Scott. We saw Case Cookus come in and finish the game for the Stars and he was serviceable, but the dropoff from Scott to Cookus was clear. I think the Panthers defense is very good and has been all season. The Panthers at -1 are an absolute lock for me this week, as well as the moneyline obviously. Im going to approach the Over/Under the same for every game, give me the under. Number one reason is because I believe the rule change that states the clock will run on incomplete passes in the first and third quarters will really speed the game up, therefore less scoring. New Jersey Generals-Pittsburgh Maulers Spread: Generals -9.5 Moneyline: Generals -500 Maulers +300 Over/Under 35.5 This game is ugly as can be from a betting standpoint. The spread is astronomical and so are the odds for the Maulers to win outright. I would steer clear of this game but that is just not the bandit way so i will throw myself into the fire on this one and take the Generals -9.5. I just think this Maulers team has shown that they just don`t know how to win a game. The Generals can run this one down their throats the entire game, and wear down the defense and can cap off drives with their beast at RB in Darius Victor. Again per my last point I will be taking the unders in all of these games. The Generals money line is the only good bet here but the odds are so bad its not even worth it. Tampa Bay Bandits-Birmingham Stallions Spread: Stallions -3.5 Moneyline: Bandits +140 Stallions -182 Over/Under: 39.5 This should be one of the best games of the week, if not the best. But there are a bunch of Stallions players with an illness listed on the injury report, this concerns me and I think the Bandits might be riding a high into this game after they won the last one in thrilling last-minute fashion. Taking account of the illness spreading through the Stallions I`m goin to take the Bandits +3.5 and the Bandits to win outright for the upset of the week knocking off the last undefeated team. TAKE THE UNDER!! Houston Gamblers-New Orleans Breakers Spread: Breakers -5 Moneyline: Breakers -213 Gamblers +160 Over/Under: 39 I am very very high on the Gamblers defense, and have been from week 1. The Gamblers have not lost a game by 5 points this season and I dont see them losing by 5 here either. The Gamblers run game is also lethal with the USFL league leading rusher in Mark Thompson(310 yards). On the other hand the Breakers are clearly a top 2 team in this league when Kyle Sloter is healthy, which we did not see last week as he was clearly limited in his mobility. Its gonna be a defensive battle in this game I do believe, so I will take the Gamblers +5 but Breakers to win outright. Did I mention the thing about the under yet? Take this as you will, but just know I was 2-10 last week on my picks, so fade season could be in full effect. But I feel good about most of these bets here and hopefully we get a big bounce back. Lets Ride!! *Odds via FoxBet sportsbook as of 05/06/2022 11:30 AM EST
